Les Baxter some more files

Some new files added to the list courtesy of Scott. Broadway '61 (a nice one), Million Seller Hits and Arthur Murray Waltzes (no cover).

A couple of links have died both soundtracks, Barbarian and House of Usher but I'll keep looking.

  1. Great as usual. I'm very happy with these magnificent albums.

    Thanks a lot, Ron

  2. Agreed - what treasures. "Broadway '61" is a particularly nice surprise.

"Million Seller Hits" is a bit of a puzzle for me, as I have an album of the maestro conducting 101 Strings called "Exciting Sounds" with a different cover, but the tracks appear to be identical - which was the original release?

  3. Thank you very much for Broadway '61 and the waltzes !!!
Would you believe these were the last ones I was searching for and couldn't find it. And now it's suddenly there out of nowhere.
    Thank you mr. Scott

  4. I have to say: the Waltzes are even more a surprise to me than Broadway '61 is, thanks again mr. Scott

I think Million Seller Hits was the Original. The Exciting Sounds is the fake one, I believe. I've never seen that one in official albumlists. The tracks are the same, by the way.....

  7. The "Million Seller Hits" link is dead. But I found (most of) the songs under the title "American Master: The Music of Les Baxter" over on Amazon and at iTunes called "Lady Love". Both compile the material along with the other 101 Strings album from 1970 "Que Mango!" Love this stuff!
